Context
Linoleum is a natural floor covering with a long tradition: robust in daily use, with a distinctive colour and surface effect. It may suit living areas, workspaces, hallways, commercial zones or existing floors – depending on product, use and build-up.
Linoleum is worth considering when you want an easy-care, durable floor that does not need to look like wood. We advise neutrally – without presenting linoleum as superior to other coverings by default.

The decision depends on use, subfloor, build height, wear, maintenance expectations and room effect. In consultation we work through these points systematically.
Linoleum is a distinctive resilient floor covering with a natural material base. Vinyl and design flooring are often strongly décor-led and practical in daily use. Parquet and wide planks offer real wood surfaces and can often be refurbished with a suitable build-up.

Linoleum is chosen through use, subfloor, surface and installation method – not colour alone. These criteria help you prepare before a showroom visit.
Unevenness and cracks must be assessed professionally before installation.
Doors, skirting and joints to tile or other floors shape the plan.
Living areas, hallways or commercial zones place different demands on covering and surface.
Colours read differently in room light than on a sample – comparison in the showroom helps.
Maintenance depends on product and surface – we explain that clearly.
Finishes at walls, pipes and openings should be planned for look and function.
Installation method and product requirements must match subfloor and use.
Colours and surfaces read differently in room light than on screen. In our Munich-Forstenried showroom we lay samples side by side and discuss material effect with you.

Service & existing floors
Not every project starts on a bare subfloor. In refurbishments we assess existing build-up, subfloor and transitions – and recommend the next step for linoleum.
Before installation we check subfloor, levelness and technical requirements. Build height and transitions to doors, tile and neighbouring floors are clarified in planning – not only on site.
Depending on product and area we choose the right installation method. Skirting and finishes are included in planning so the floor closes off cleanly.
Installation is carried out by experienced master craftsmen – including considered finishes where agreed. After completion you receive care notes suited to your chosen surface.
We assess
Unsure whether the existing floor is sound or an old covering must be removed? We review the situation and advise honestly.

Linoleum is a resilient floor covering based on natural raw materials – with its own colour and surface effect. It is available in sheets or tiles, depending on manufacturer and system. In consultation we explain which option fits your subfloor and use.
For many living rooms yes – when product, surface and installation method match the use. Heavily used hallways or damp areas need a closer product choice. Linoleum is not automatically the best fit for every use; we clarify that in consultation.
Linoleum is based on natural components and has its own material character. Vinyl and design flooring are synthetic multi-layer coverings, often with décor looks. Both can be practical – the choice depends on room, use, care and the look you want.
